- make the nutrients available to the plant
- decompose crop residues
- mineralization of organic material
- synthesis of soil organic matter
- fixation of nitrogen
- improve aeration of soil
- reduce soil compaction
AIR:
If your soil is compacted, tight and hard, you must increase the TILTH.
CK Organic Epi-Center provides Blends that will increase aeration in the soil by adding Organic Matter and stimulate Microbial Growth.
WATER:
Does water not penetrate the soil surface?
Numerous wet spots and standing pools of water indicate poor microbial activity in the soil.
CK Organic Epi-Center provides Blends that will increase water movement through the soil and moisture
retention where necessary. Blends with a high cation exchange capacity retain moisture and nutrients for easy uptake by the
plant.
