Liquid Carbon Recent studies at the Department of Laiyang Agricultural University, showed that tomato and pepper plants grown with organic fertilizer had a higher resistance to PHYTOPHTHORA infestation than plants given chemical fertilizer. A comparison of the biochemistry of the plants suggested that difference in nitrogen metabolism constitutes the underlying cause of the differing resistance to disease. (Ref: Phytophthora Resistance Inc. Journal of Crop Production) By the same process, we have proven that non spore forming microbes, combined with humic and fulvic acids do attach to the spore of pathogens like pythcium root-rot. This combination deprives the pathogen spores of iron, thereby canceling their ability to develop into root-rot. Furthermore, a liquid carbon combination with fulvic acid will accelerate the growth of fine secondary roots for an increased uptake of nutrients and water. EVERGREEN LIQUID CARBON contains a safe, but complex assemblage of naturally occurring bacteria and humic acid. It is composed of generalized forms capable of feeding on carbonaceous matter and specialized forms which feed on cellulose, lignin, starches, proteins and fats (plus nitrogen bacteria and sulphur bacteria). The ingredients in EVERGREEN LIQUID CARBON quickly help to break down organic material in the soil, turning it into humus and the nutrients that plants naturally thrive on. Natural soil fertility results from this breakdown of organic material into humus. Soil containing higher levels of humus retains more moisture, is less compacted and has better aeration (increased air spaces between soil particles). These spaces allow freer travel of moisture, oxygen and nutrients - and an easier path for growing roots. Ponds - EVERGREEN LIQUID CARBON can be applied to ponds and/or dugouts for algae control. The algae is a form of nitrogen, which is a highly desirable nutrient for the bacteria in EVERGREEN LIQUID CARBON. EVERGREEN LIQUID CARBON is not harmful when consumed by livestock. Hydrocarbon Contamination - EVERGREEN LIQUID CARBON can be used for cleaning up certain types of hydrocarbon spills (i.e. diesel, motor oil) and septic waste. The use of salt laden fertilizers should be avoided to reduce plant stress. Liquid fertilizers are much easier to handle, free of salt and impurities. |
